‘21-‘22 SEASON

As the NBA enters its 75th season, this year's city edition jersey takes the theme of  "mixtape" to celebrate past, present, and future. Our jersey highlights over five decades of Hawks' basketball with each detail giving a nod to memorable moments on the court.

The process started by collecting images throughout our history and identifying significant marks to implement. Joe Johnson was the last to don the yellow jersey back in '07 and felt appropriate to make its vibrant return.

Having the opportunity to work with Nike on designing the ‘21-‘22 city edition jersey was a heartfelt experience. To me, it's a personal thank you for the city that raised me and the game that I love.
